Inspiration
For the stage before booking — what an alpine stay can look like, from architecture and interiors to the experiences that make a place worth the journey.
The stage before you know where you are going
Most alpine trips start vaguely: a free week in February, a wish for mountains, no idea whether that means a Tyrolean village, a Swiss lake or the Dolomites. This section is for that stage. It is less about comparing addresses than about seeing what is possible — the architecture, the interiors, the guest experiences that people remember years later, and the parts of alpine life that do not fit into a booking form.
Once the shape of the trip is clear, the decision-making happens elsewhere on the site: destination by destination, with areas, distances and seasons spelled out. Start from Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany or Slovenia — and who we are explains what we are trying to do here.
